LEON Energy has sign an agreement of smart bus AI active safety and smart electronic license plates with Taoyuan City Government and Institute for Information Industry on 22/03/2021.
To decrease the accidents of blind spots of large cars and with the growth of urbanization and the rapid increase in vehicles, traffic management must also be smarter. On February 11th, Taoyuan Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan attended the Press Conference signed the "Open Field Experimental Operation of Autonomous Electric Bus Cooperation " with ITRI and Len Energy. The government will provide suitable open areas for testing of large self-driving electric buses jointly developed by the ITRI and Leon Energy for smart transportation.
